Departure from the hotel at 8:30 a.m. – 09:00 a.m. to the Panama Canal, the most famous tourist attraction in Panama, so much so that its visit is a must for anyone traveling to the country.

Did you know that the Panama Canal uses a lock system that lifts ships 26 meters high? What each transit lasts between 8 and 10 hours?

To find out these details, we will visit the Miraflores Locks and the new visitor center, where you can enjoy the passage of ships from its terraces and viewpoints, and learn more about the history of this work of engineering in the IMAX theater where they broadcast a documentary on IMAX screen on the history of the Canal, narrated by Morgan Freeman (temporarily closed).

We continue with the Barrio de San Felipe (Casco Antiguo) where the Plaza de la Independencia is located where we can walk to appreciate the Metropolitan Cathedral, a colonial church built in the 17th century, the Hotel Central, the Municipality, the Vaults declared a National Monument. where is the Plaza de Francia, panoramic view of the city and the entrance to the Canal.

We finish with a ride on the Causeway/Amador, one of the most well-known roads in Panama and access to some of the main attractions of the city. it is a 6-kilometer stretch of highway that extends into the Pacific Ocean and connects the capital with a group of islands known as the Amador Causeway Islands. where you can take wonderful photos.

Return to the Hotel at 1:30 p.m., includes entrance fees to the Canal.
